Partner with Us
There are a number of ways that churches and families can get involved in the mission of HfYI.

Churches
Churches can get involved by becoming a hosting partner with HfYI. Each church takes responsibility for placing one to five students with families in their church. Each church has a coordinator that recruits prospective families within their church for student placement. Church coordinators through the year provide moral and prayer support and meet once a month for fellowship and prayer. Training is provided for both coordinators and host families. Prior to the students arrival in the host home HfYI provides training, and before their return there is a reentry seminar for students and families. Through out the students stay there are monthly gatherings for the exchange students and supervisory meetings to monitor their progress while here, provided by HfYI. Churches also might consider partnering with us financially as an mission outreach of their fellowship.

Youth Groups
Youth groups can get involved by recruiting families from their group to be hosts, and adopting the student while they are here for their home-stay by reaching out to them and including them in the life of their youth group. It is an awesome way to expose students to another culture and to world missions.

Families and Individuals
Families and Individuals can become involved in a number of ways - prayer team support, volunteer workers who meet with the students building relationships with them, and through financial giving.
